I see a lot of people misuse splenda, thinking its its 0 calories.. but its NOT!

Technically one serving/packet is less than 5 calories, which meets FDA’s standards for no-calorie foods. Therefore they can CLAIM/advertise that they are 0 calories. But say you have 2 or 3 servings, Then that’s less then 10-15 calories. It just all adds up. I see this happen a lot when it comes to baking. People will add 1 cup of splenda thinking that its 0 calories but thats actually just a 24+ servings which means its its less than 120 cals.

Now 120 cals is certainly not alot, but at the same time, its certainly not 0!
